Course Attendance Terms & Conditions

We would like to thank you for choosing to use Keywest Consulting (KWC). In order to protect our legal position you are required to review and sign our terms and conditions, which set out the basis on which we will provide training. If you have any concerns, issues or complaints in relation to this course, please contact us to discuss these further.

Definition

In this Agreement, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings unless the context otherwise requires:

1. ‘Course’ means the provision of the training services by KWC to You;
2. ‘Intellectual Property’ means all present and future intellectual property rights;
3. ‘Materials’ means any course materials, handouts, textbooks, whitepapers, discussion sheets, or other such materials provided by KWC as part of the Course;
4. ‘You’ means the Student;
5. ‘Your Obligations’ means taking responsibility for your attendance of the scheduled mentorship sessions, and other classes that would be beneficial to your career change plans, job applications, utilising study materials provided and finally use of the collaborative platform to share ideas, ask questions and sharpen up on self-study sessions; and
6. ‘Us’ and ‘we’ mean KWC.

Your Obligations

Prior to and during the Course (and within the timescales agreed between You and KWC) You agree to:

1. Ensure that all information provided by You to KWC is correct, accurate and up to date; and
2. Behave at all times in a manner that is not disruptive to other delegates or Our staff.

If You fail to comply with Your obligations, then We reserve the right to terminate your participation in the Course at any time.  If We do this then You will not be entitled to a refund of the Course Fees.

Our Obligations

We shall ensure that the Course is presented by suitably qualified facilitators.

We will provide You with the materials necessary for the Course. You may retain these materials following completion of the Course.

Mentorship and Interviews

We will provide You with mentorship support (You will be assigned a mentor who will be your first point of contact), advertised job vacancies and interview guides/techniques prior to your interviews provided we are given a minimum of 48 hours prior notice to get you prepared for the interview. Please note we do not give jobs but rather recommend roles/jobs which we deem suitable for you.

Payment

If payment is not made within 7 days of the due date, We shall be entitled to withhold any certificate and study materials you would be given as part of the package. We do not provide any refunds, however, you are able to take another course or courses that amount to the same value.

Intellectual Property

On completion of the Course you may retain the materials provided to You as part of the Course. You may only modify (in whole or in part) the materials provided to You with Our prior written permission. You may not permit, assist or licence another person to modify, vary or reproduce any of the Materials provided to You.

Confidentiality

Any information of a confidential nature that is obtained or disclosed to us prior to or during the Course will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any other person except as required by law.
